Note from Barcelona: To go Mobile, Get to the Desktop First
At Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, everyone was certain mobile would change everything. The actual prediction from this column: before that could happen, desktop internet needed to reach the people mobile was supposed to serve. The argument has aged better than the fanatics.
